Sugar Bush
I had never before seen the amazing Australian sugar bushes, their flower heads are simply amazing they explode with a riot of almost fluorescent colours, reds, pinks and yellows I had to try capture them in one go they really do suit my way of painting as it is always changing, i’m always pushing my boundaries this one has so much energy so much action and pulse as I worked I became totally lost in my process its the only time my mind is quiet each mark laid down without thought I just love the idea of using a different colour palette from a different continent, 1.5m x 1.0m box canvas
